![]() Not just that, but they got pretty incredible secret tech alts like Celestian Lightbringer which is a melee flying unit (way better than the ground version imo) and Voidtech that again has a lancer variant. They're just too easy to deal with compared to any other core unit, their attack is a 3 attack but it's hard to get full usage of it whether constantly running up to units or getting staggered, and then being tier 1 they're easy to kill.Įxactly! Same is with Assembly with their tier 1 being fairly pseudo-melee focused, hence it's suddenly a melee faction, meanwhile neither have anything solid at tier 2 to consider them really melee until tier 3.Īmazons on the other hand got lancer, which imo is one of the best melee units in the game. ![]() That said Kir'ko could definitely need some tweaking the same for Assembly. Meanwhile Amazons are the most amazing melee faction, as well as Dvar being solid for that too, and Syndicate take's the price as horde faction with dirt cheap unmodded Indentured spam that does way more than Kir'ko's Frenzied. Overall any faction that has a sniper unit ends up favoring ranged more. Same problem happened with Assembly that was advertised as melee faction although they struggle more. ![]() Their flying unit for example is incredible and they got great sniper too. They're shown to be the melee faction with horde style to them, but instead their core unit is the worst one ever and you wanna go more elite with them. Actually Kir'ko is really powerful, it's just that the way to play them isn't what they're advertised as.
